My husband gave the dogs a bit of raw bison last night and they liked it. I was going to stop by the pet store and pick up a small bag of Nature's Variety raw bison for them.

I looked it up on their website and it only has 11.5% protein. Their Instinct kibble has 35%. Am I missing something? Why such a difference? I don't like super high protein but 11.5% seems a little low I thought.

I don't plan to feed raw exclusivley but just wanted to ask those of you who do about the protein. Is 11.5% enough?
