the breeder's partner kept on telling me about how the pup's grandfather is an international champion (which i did not care about since i was not going to show the dog lol)
i also spoke to her about possibly keeping the pup until mid december (end of dec-jan i only work 9-12 for 3 weeks and have a week off in feb, go to school until feb 17th and break until march 2nd: yes the korean school system is whacked!) and she said that would not be a problem.
The breeder is awesome (though major language barrier) however she t old me that most likely the puppies will not have silk coats and will have cotton coats like the father. so most likely i will not get the batch.
(plus i didnt really bond with any of the pups in the batch)
she told me that there will be newpuppies coming soon in the new year (2 females are in heat) so i can come back in jan to meet the new puppies! i'm very excited! and the breeder is willing to keep the pup until it is a little older (etween 5-6 months) for no extra charge.
random question. anyone have had rashes from a cotton coat? or am i just that sensitive? i held the father for 20 mins just chilling as i was waiting for the puppies, i got a small rash from his hair...(anything that rubs on me i get a rash so that could be it! mickey's puppy tangles used to give me rash and hes a silky!) |

I have a cotton coated, or soft coated, yorkie. Have you ever felt a very soft, plush, brand new teddy bear? That's what Kaji feels like, only 3x's softer. With proper care I have yet to have any problems with his coat type. Not one matt, not harshness at all in his coat. It is very fluffy, and puffs out when I brush him out. And I'm highly allergic to smells and my environment in general. I literally rub my face against his coat because he's so soft.
Have I mentioned how absolutely soft it is?
