We are camping and DH brought Zoe to bed this morning since she wasn't very active. Our closet mirror goes wall to wall next to the bed. She saw her reflection moving and must have thought it was another dog after her and she quickly backed off the bed. She loves all dogs and all people so don't know why she suddenly panicked at her reflection. She was immediately taken to a vet (who thankfully is on the same street) and she took x-rays and said Zoe has a bad sprain...thankfully there was no breakage). She was concerned that Zoe's knee was out of place but after viewing x-rays twice she said it just seems to be a bad sprain. So Zoe is on anti-inflamatory meds. She walks with a limp and holds the injured foot up. She has been content to just lie in her bed or on the floor most of the day except for small potty trips outside. She won't use the pee pads inside. I can tell she's in a lot of pain..my poor baby.
