I'm not sure where you are getting the information that you are sharing - but I can tell you from the daily EXPERIENCE of living with a pet with Dementia that the condition does, in fact, exist. The confused look on Boo's face is just that - confusion. I can assure you that during the time that "Boo is with us" she isn't trying to decide if we are going to load her up in the Mini Cooper, drive her to the vet and end her life. Boo is more interested in when she can convince someone to give her a treat.
