I don't know if that is true, but I do know that the vets don't like to write RX's to petmed because they lose money on it. My vet used to charge me 2.00 to write a RX, but they did do it. If Pizer dropped every vet that wrote perscriptions to pet med they would be out a lot of money, so I don't think that is true
