Sophie and I just got back from the vet. She said she was maybe boarderline dehydrated, which was a good thing so the fluid under the skin wasn't neccesary. They are doing another fecal test (I will get the results tomorrow) and gave me a dewormer (Panacur liquid) and Tylosin powder to add to her meals. The vet wants me to start feeding Sophie dog food, since the dog food the pet store got me to buy has garlic in it (that she won't eat anyway) and I was told that garlic can be toxic to dogs, so I stopped giving it to her awhile ago. I am thinking about trying wellness I hear great things about that brand and want to start gradually incorporating it into her diet.
Sophie is still acting like herself, biting, chewing running around, peeing everywhere.
The breeder is from Arkansas, it's called Elite Puppies. Anyone heard of them? |
