We call it the "sun" smell in my house. But it seems to go away after they cool down.
Maybe you could try conditioning sprays like buddy splash instead of washing more than once a week ( unless their fur is visibly dirty). I was watching a vet show yesterday and the vet was saying washing dogs more than once a weeks kills the good bacteria on their skin and opens them up to potential skin infections. just a thought. |
