I too only go where my baby and I are welcome for the holidays. I do go out and spend time with friends without him, but that is only a matter of hours. For the holidays, I like spending it with my entire family, I'm just lucky my brothers and parents feel the same way.
If you have not other choice, the breeder or a trustworthy friend would be my first choice.
