Really, wow. Did the breeder not socialize her? I have heard of some cockers being snappy but usually they were from poor backgrounds.
I belong to a big cocker forum and it isn't heard of with many being snappy, just a select few. Many members have young children and their cockers do wonderful with them. They are generally great family dogs. I've learned a ton about the breed from the forum.
Peppi came from a byb but the breeder did well with socializing the pups. Peppi has never snapped at anyone. She loves children, even lets them pull on her long ears with no complaint.
