I concur. Raw diet does not cause heartworms.

There are so many things that flood the internet on canine nutrition...it's a mess. Pork is not all bad (although I'd never feed it raw, but that goes for any meat) and turkey is not all bad either. I know people (even some pre-made raw diet feeders) see these as high fat, but the dry matter basis conversion of many raw diets reveals that most are high fat...

We had a good thread going (YorkiePuppie started it) before. The more I read, the more I know this is definitely not the diet for us and the more I'm concerned about peoples' exposure to bacteria and parasites.
