Congrats and good luck to you. I do this when I am called from the animal shelter from time to time. It is hard to say good-bye, but it makes it so much easier when you see that they are going to a good home. It was hard at first; I loved them all and convinced myself that I could keep them all. But I knew deep down that I should do what was best for them and let them go to their new homes. Some of the stories behind them will break your heart, but I learned that you can't use it as a crutch. If they are physically well, I learned to not know partiality to them because of their sad situations; otherwise they ended up running wild and ultimately running my household. It is a very rewarding experience, and I know that it will bring joy to your heart. (:
