Theres some great ideas that I will keep in mind for myself as well. We have about a 5 foot privacy fence around our yard and on two sides of the fence the wood was not close enough so my yorkies were getting out. Both sides have small dogs. The one side though which is my neighbor has two small dashunds. Now not only did I want to keep mine in but one of their dashunds seems VERY agressive. I put chicken wire all long the fence in my yard to keep them out and mine in. Their dashund bites and attacks the chickwire. It is actually scarey because she looks as if she will bite your hand off if you put it near the fence. I was worried she would bite one of my dogs on the face. Usually if I know their dogs are out in the yard ( because they are always at my fence barking) I don't let my dogs out. I wait until they are in. |
