My Jade has been doing the same thing for months. I was told before that it was allergies and her ears were fine. The other night she scratched so bad one ear started bleeding. Needless to say she was off to the vet the next day. She would not let them look in her ear so the vet had to muzzle her and the assistant had to basically sit on her. I never knew a 6lb dog could be so strong. Come to find out she did have an ear infection. They want me to put drops in her ears for 12 days. I tried and she will NOT let me put anything in her ear. I have wrapped her in a towel and she wiggles her way out of it. I have tried to put a muzzle on her and she bites it so that doesn't work. I am at a loss. I left a message for the vet to see if there is some type of oral medication she can take. Anybody have any suggestions?? She is wearing me out and its only day 2!! |
