Here is an AKC registration paper so you can see it is no different except for color.
That is what I was surmising, that they were registered as Yorkshire Terriers and the parti was what they had put for the color description.
But, if someone came across that site while looking for a Yorkie and sees the statement that they are registered as Yorkshire Terrier, Parti Color - and it could be misunderstood. I know I am not very good sometimes at explaining what I mean. Why don't they just say they are registered as Yorkshire Terriers?

Not everyone looking for a Yorkie really understands the breed, many a time they have just seen a Yorkie and think it is a cute dog to have.
