Sounds like your baby is like mine when it comes to nails. Syd, who is good as gold for baths and haircuts, goes through the roof for nail trimmings. We have to muzzle her to do it.
The major problem that we have is that she is a bleeder. No matter how small of an ammount we cut off...they bleed. And this is only making her more afraid of it.
I just ordered a nail drummel set from PetEdge. These are supposed to work faster then clipping, they don't leave the super sharp nails that you have with clipping and they cauterize while they shorten...so you never have a bleeder.
I'll let you know how they work once I get them. |
