rhetts mom,, you are correct that most of the time time released meds should not be cut in half however if they are scored they can infact be cut in half,, if scored they make sure the same amount of med is in each side,
these can be cut in half and i think think that is the only way the theophylline comes you dont want all the drug absorbed in the body at the same time and thephylline has a pretty hig absorption rate, so they use the time release to slow it down.
