Ziva is 1 1/2 and just went to the groomer for the 1st time. It was ok but my daughter says I do just as well. I practiced a little every week before her bath and then decided what to do next as I looked at her from different angles all week long. She was "growly" at first but with short weekly sessions she really got the hang of it. The groomer said she was easy to handle and did not expect her to be so good.
