Maybe you can contact one of those Mobile Groomers that come to your house with a van. They do everything in the van in front of your house so you can watch.
Don't use PetSmart or Petco groomers. They just train some kid for 15 minutes and let them handle your baby. You should get referrals from local friends and neighbors and find a good groomer. My last dog was snappy also and PetSmart told me she was not welcome back. However, my groomer, who is less expensive and does much better job, was able to handle her without any problem. She also does all her grooming at an open area at the center of her store so everyone can see and you can stay with your baby if you want. She owns a yorkie herself and knows exactly how to handle their delicate bones and trachea. So if you want to us a groomer, just research to find a good one. You can check online for reviews also. Many sites such as Yahoo Local offer online reviews on local businesses. Good luck. |
