Did you know they makes soft floppy cones now? We had one on Suki when we first got her after her spay (her's was blue) and it didn't work so well... I don't recommend them :P
I know small breeds have a lot of risk in tracheal collapse. Is the hard "e" collar a problem for that? I know you shouldn't put regular collars on them, so I'm wondering if the cone is okay?
My vet did heavily insist on *all* the optional parts, but it seemed like he was almost obligated to tell me they were optional even though he didn't seem too keen on it. I was just wondering if there was some kind of protocol where he has to give me the option to opt out. I will be opting in on absolutely everything. It is not worth risking my furbaby's life for some extra cash in my pocket and I don't think anyone should have the option to do so, but again that is JMO.
