Puppies will try to eat ANYTHING, so I would just discourage them from eating it.
What food are these grass munchers on? |
Jackson LOVES grass- usually when it's freshly cut or in the beginning of spring. I have no idea why. He likes to graze like a cow.
He's certainly not missing anything from his diet (Orijen and Acana kibble), and 99.9% of the time when he eats it, he doesn't get sick. He will eat it when his stomach is upset too but it's only happened twice, where I knew his tummy was bothering him, and he ran outside and ate grass like I've never seen before and finally he made himself throw up whatever was bothering him, so I think it can work both ways.
