It is good to start as young as possible. After sign up there is a 5 day waiting period for accidents and 30 days for illness etc.
PS. There is a link on this page that gets you $15 off the sign up fee for Trupanion if you use the link.
OK, so now I am debating between two insurance companies. Trupanion who offers $0 deductible for illness and accident only and petplan who offers also routine check ups and dental up to $600 per year with a $250 deductible and around $30 more expensive. what do you guys think??
