AllDogBoots is right - Wylie is tooooooootally OCD.
Here are some examples:
*prefers to go to sleep at night with 2 socks, preferably *white*, but will accept darker
*after he gets his 2 socks, there is a certain "route" he has to walk w/ said socks in his mouth, after which, he brings the socks up onto our bed and "taps" them into place; the other dogs may not be with the socks
*when we used to feed kibble, he needed his kibble "fluffed" (by hand, fluffed around the bowl) every night around 8-9pm
*he thinks barriers, of all kinds, just belong in he** -- as a young pup, he chewed through a baby gate
*he has to turn in a bunch of circles before each meal
*he has a VERY strong preference to be "at large" in the house, so that he can properly supervise the humans as well as Marcel, and Pfeiffer
*he will *not*, repeat NOT use doggy stairs
*he is all business during walks -- ALL business; he maintains the concentration of a sniper during walk time and takes it very seriously
Oh lordie....I could go on and on...he has so many routines and programs that he maintains for his own equilibrium. So, don't feel too weird if you also have an OCD yorkie
