But, it is for our kids! What I like about it is that it is pressure mounted, meaning there is no hardware needed. Also, it has extensions if for some reason you needed it somewhere with a larger opening.
It is a lot of money for a gate, but it holds up well! We had some plastic safety first gates and they were awful. They were hard to use after a while and the bottom of the gate tripped a few people.
