ive tried YTCA....3 of the 5 breeders never got back to me. one lady was asking for 1800 for a 6 month old male with an undescended (sp?) testicle. & the last guys puppies arent ready yet.
& the breeder in albany hasnt responed yet either...its only been 2/3 days since i wrote her though...maybe im just being impatient  .
i havent gotten anymore leads so im just sitting here waiting basiclly. im looking for more breeders on google but i keep finding pet stores....brokers....teacup breeders....just having no luck! 
but im gunna back on YTCA to look at PA breeders....thats my last resort. |
As a YTCA Exhibitor/Breeder, let me offer some advice and of course you can PM me with any questions.
I don't know if and when you contacted these people and how? E-mails will not work. Most of us want to know that you are putting forth the effort with a phone call. We want to hear your voice. Second, if you contacted them on a weekend; that doesn't work either, we are at shows. Be persistent; keep on calling back.
Oh! Understand, that you may have to wait for that puppy. We don't breed to sell puppies. We breed for ourselves first for our next Champion. So, be prepared to wait. And remember the question/answer thing is a two way street. They will grill you just as much as you will grill them. Our first priority is that pup, we want to make sure that our pup is in the best, loving home possible. You buy your breeder first, then your pup. Your breeder should be there for you 7x24 for the rest of that pups life.
