Congratulations! I remember the first time AprilLove rang the bell on her own. I was sooo excited and she got soooo excited seeing me get soooo excited!!! lol
Are you taking her to the bell, and ringing it or touching her paw to it each time you take her out for potty? I did this the first couple weeks with our training, along with using the word "potty" and soon she did it on her own.
Just keep at it, soon you will be amazed at just how quickly she picks up on it
