Could be a slipping patella??? Beamer has one. the first time it happened I was sure there was something terribly wrong with his paw. Bruce took him to the vet right away. The vet said his kneecap had just slipped out of the socket and he manipulated it back.
Next time it happened it went right on its own.
I would have the vet check your little one for it. It is not uncommon in toy breeds.
