My Yorkies are very sensitive to any noises their bodies make, like tummy growls and passing gas. They try to run away from their butts when they get gassy (which isn't very often). I wonder if your little one had strange feelings in her tummy before she burped, causing her to freak out?
Also, just a note: My Yorkie is a sweetheart with me, but is very fearful of others, and will go to major lengths to separate herself from anyone but me.... well even me sometimes too. Don't expect a young puppy to be friends with your friends... in time yes but when they are so young it can be risky to do so.
