I just did some checking, and the owner of the puppy mill in Tampa was banned from owning or breeding animals for 10 years. She was convicted in 1999. Her business was Toyland Pet Resort, and I just checked the state website for businesses, and someone registered the fictitious name Toyland Pet Resort at the same address in 2009 - 10 years after the conviction. The rumors about her operating again under a family members name may very well be true. This makes me sick!
