This is a tough one. you probably have scared him from pooping. He doesn't know you are clapping and saying no to pooping IN the house- he thinks you are saying no to pooping- period. What REALLY needs to happen is for you to take him out BEFORE he starts to poop inside. Let him wander and sniff- be very low key. when he finally poops- BIG PARTY! Lots of love and praise and treats galore! if you do miss and he starts to go in the house- just go over and pick him up- bring him outside and praise him- even if nothing comes out- you are praising that he is outside where he needs to poop. This is going to take a while now since he has a negative association with pooping- but keep at it!
