Hi got Cali at 9 weeks at the end of August and I ahve a 8 1/2 year old 12 lb pom who isn't the sweetest dog around and 3 months later she will tolerate the puppy alot of the times but when there is food or a bone involved she has chased her down and snapped at her. She has never bitten her I think she is just warning her. In the beginning the pom would not let the puppy near her, but after a couple of weeks she would let her sit near her. Now we have days where they will be laying next to each other and as long as the puppy doesn't jump on her she leaves her alone. So it definately has gotten better. I make sure to give them the same treats and lots of attention to the pom. But it's funny because the puppy is more jealous of my paying attention to the pom then the pom is of her. I would just give it time and keep a close eye on them when there together. Good luck! Keep us posted.
