Keep them shaved, if they aren't up solid in a couple of days, assist them. Let him hump away....the faster he gets his little testicles to seat...the better for his ears and teeth. Humping does assist them in dropping.
I usually begin shaving them at a week of age; both sides all the way down. I know they don't have much hair yet, but I want them to get use to the vibration as well as assisting the ears.
