Laila has a docked tail, and it is adorable. This is my first Yorkie and I have never breed them, I didn't even realize they 'docked' the tails. I thought they just came short? I am very well educated on Yorkies now, but the tail thing I didn't realize. I would have preferred a long tail if given the choice to make, I always prefer things that are unaltered and natural. I keep Laila's tail hair long in order to make her tail appear longer... all my friends love her fluffy little tail. I would only prefer the undocked not to put them through the unnecessary pain of surgery.
Does anyone have a picture of a Yorkie with an undocked tail to show us?
