I hope you have good luck with your puppy. Most puppy mill puppies are poorly bred with lots of issues.
Being clean and smelling nice is a minor issue. It's what you can't see that ends up costing you a small fortune.
As you yourself said most of the dogs in the shelters come from puppy mills. This is because they are poorly bred, and they will sell to anyone and do not care what happens to the dog after they sell it.
Good breeders will have in their contract that the dog must be returned to them if the owner can no longer keep it. Does this nice little old lady have that in her contract? |
Yes she does it says that in the contract if the puppy is no longer in a condition that it can still be your healthy pet within a year that she can take it back and refund it with a new puppy of the same breed no cost.
