I cannot believe anyone would do this to this extent. I know how rough it is because I am a senior, I live alone and am struggling to make it with my little shop on Etsy/Artfire. I have 3 yorkies, and although I am unemployed, my Yorkies get better food/care than I do. So I frankly don't understand the neglect with these economic times. The house I was renting was put in foreclosure and I have to move, I have many problems that have faced me over the past year, but never once have my animals ever suffered. They are by my side, sleep on my bed, are warm, fed better than I am and want for nothing. So, why is this? I don't understand, because if I can still take care of my animals in times of great adversity, why cannot others. I love my babies and would never once consider to be without them. You have to make it happen. To me it is a choice, think about it... just how much food does a dog eat? There are ways to get care. It is a conscious choice we make. I would find a home first before abandoning and allowing their nails to grow in their paw (which takes time)... there are no excuses. None!!
