That is true. I wouldn't want to part with a dog that I have worked hard to ideally breed for many years. That would be so hard; I've noticed some breeders will write a disclaimer saying that they reserve the right to pick the ones that they keep from the litter first (worded better). Thanks for giving me an idea on a round-about price. That seems fair for someone that plans to be competing for show, and may win money for the best in show.
