I agree completely. A society that fails to do their research will fail to see that they are getting hustled if the price is based on the dog's size. All sizes of Yorkies are adorable; I'm a fan of small Yorkies, big Yorkies, and everything in between. However, the only thing different about a tiny "Teacup" Yorkie is they were born the smallest of the litter. A reputable breeder would not breed smaller intentionally, and would look for a good home for the runt, or keep it themselves, not distinguish it under false pretenses and use the pup for monetary purposes. With this said, I'm not saying that every small Yorkie is sick and can not thrive. IMO, they would be at more of a risk for illnesses or accidents, and would require major attention. I relate animals to babies, and I think of a tiny Yorkie as a preemie.
