Tara, I agree with you. The cautionary post about other ads on Hoobly are fine. However, if she doesn't want to take $500, she doesn't want to take $500. This isn't an auction and if Elaine wanted to discuss money privately, she should have done so through PM. There is nothing wrong with the OP refusing an offer and she shouldn't have to defend her actions. This is HER dog and she is allowed rehome it at her discretion.
