The fact that hse has to have tons of people to care for the dogs is a red flag.
When you talked to her did you think she was going to say "I run a puppy mill, and spend as little money as possible, on my dogs.. they are kept in cages and their feet have never touched grass and I breed the mothers to death."
Of course she is going to tell you how wonderfull her kennel is and how well they are taken care of. And I'm betting her dogs have never been seen by a vet.
Ask her for her vets phone number. It doesn't pay to ask for references because she will most likely give you the names of friends and relatives.
Please don't buy from a puppy mill.
