Why are you insisting on bothering her while she is asleep? I have a pup in my home that came to me with major issues. To this day, if he is awakened abruptly, he will snap. He no longer bites but did for some time. Usually it is a warning nip now. I just don't let him sleep in areas where he will need to be moved. When he starts to settle down to sleep, if it is in a high traffic area, I make him relocate.
