When Jersey Boy broke his leg it was a Sunday afternoon, we called out vet ( at the time we didn't know it was broken we were hoping sprained or just bruised) out vet told us to give a baby asprin wait 20 minutes if Jersey didn't seem better to call back and he would meet us at the office to x-ray. I don't know if the baby asprin helped him or not.
