I think people will buy as we know whatever type of pup they want. Whether it is a purebreed or a complete mutt or 50 50 of 2 known purebreeds. I think what is most important is that a person is happy with the choice they have made and that the puppy they get is a healthy one with a good temperament. Nothing is better than another in my opinion. I'm sure all of us prob feel our babies are the cutest and possibly the best cause thats the way pet ownership is. I dont like to see a family or individual go out to get a new pup and have to come home to what turns out to be a sick pup. What should be a enjoyable moment turns into running back and forth to a vet to better the animal. Unfortunately we see alot of this going on with the purebreeds being sold. Atleast I know I have. Especially read alot of it in this forum.
So all because a person decides to purebreed or cross breed 2 purebreeds, I think it is ones choice. The buyers are the one that then chooses what they want. It is more likely they will get a pup with less of a chance of developing genetic problems if it is a crossbreed. To each their own...I dnt see anything wrong with it, as long as its not being done with the intentions of trying to make a new breed or whatever.
Perhaps breeders get upset cause they are being sold. Hey Jessica Simpson has a maltipoo and then all of a sudden tons of people want one.
