In reference to Max's breeder:

When we first discussed that Max had a medical issue, I don't think either of us handled it well and we both jumped to the worst possible conclusions. Some things were said out of anger and shock. My mistake was bringing any of that information to a public forum. I have no intention of ruining anyone's reputation.

She has since contributed money to his medical bills, has been involved with the doctors at LSU regarding the rest of the litter and has been in communication with me daily and has shown compassion.

I'm sure that Max comes from solid genes. I never once said that I thought it was a hereditary issue or that it's the breeder's fault. For anyone who's attacking the breeder, she has stepped up to assist me. I DO NOT want to discuss the breeder any longer.
