Just FYI....and this is a human scenario. My mentor's husband would suffer slight siezures. He began this about 2 years ago. Just slight siezures and he would experience them while he was standing. His head would bob and he'd babble a bit and come out of it in a matter of seconds. Well he went in for nuerological testing, had a couple of MRIs. Diagnosis.....siezures brought on by an old head injury. We put our heads together and wondered when he'd hit his head.......Well about 5 years ago, he'd fallen and hit his head on the concrete and was taken to the hospital.....He's on meds now, siezures are under control.....none since starting the meds. |
Thank you. We are going to keep him on the meds for a little bit. The doctor said the last thing she wants to do is medicate a dog who doesn't need it, but she feels due to the frequency of the tremors, it's wise to get it under control. We will revisit the issue later on and ween him off the meds at some point if that's what they suggest.
He's a wild maniac already
