Yep the pic is of a yochon..I think its adorable too!

I agree with your other post regarding the animal shelters. I tried adopting from the shelters...cause to be honest I feel bad for the animals there in need of homes. But before getting my bichon(1st dog) I went with my husband and we adopted a jack russell. Shockingly the only time I was able to since they are always wanted and there is a waiting list for small breeds.
To make a long story short...she was the most depressing dog I've ever been with. Lookin at her made me wanna cry. She wouldnt do anything other than lay in a corner. I also have 2 young kids so u know they wanted a doggie that wld eventually play and stuff. I adopted her thinkin she was 2yrs old as posted but turns out the dog was prob about 5yrs old. She also had problems and everytime she ate she wld gag and throw up. Her name was Lucy but realizing that we didnt know what we were gettin ourselves into since she was already showin problems...the shelter is understanding and took her back. Of course I cried for days cause I quickly get attached to animals. They reimbursed us the adoption fee and we just donated half of it. Adoption here is $100.
I also feel adoption isnt for everyone. There are people out there seeking a certain type of pet(like urself). Now when I get older and my kids are all grown up I'll happily try adopting again and or foster caring for the spca.
