Did you let her eat the after births? That can make a bitch very ill. I NEVER let them have them. I'd watch the diarrhea and vomiting to be sure that's stopped. And entice her to eat with good food that won't give her loose stool again. This isn't the time to MAKE her eat her dog food. As the demand on her body from the puppies increases she'll start eating again. I also always give the bitches liquid calcium while they're nursing. But please remember that you can never give calcium while a bitch is pregnant. That will cause eclampsia. |
