I have a male yorkie that has double fangs, sometimes they will fall out giving them chew toys. My vet said no need to have them pulled unless they give them problems. My yorkie is 4lbs, I am also to scared to have him put under, I think we will keep the teeth for now. Hair should start growing in good at about a year.
