And if she replies back with "no" then just back off, and wait a few days to see if she emails me back willing to sell for lower price? I feel like if she really just wanted a good home, she wouldn't be asking $400-$500. I just feel kind of guilty giving her $400 for her personal self, when shelters all around here have dogs for much less and the money is going to a charity/good cause.
