Gemy and I bothed advised that the best option was to keep the mom and pups yourself until the pups were 12 weeks. Since the breeder is going back to school. She won't be able to watch the mom either. Mom is still not out of the woods as eclampsia can still develop and there a chance of pyometritis after a whelp too.
