Yes, it could be too much protein for his system...we had that problem with one of our males last year when we were feeding EVO. I feed mine Fromm's grain free formula and they are doing great on it...it's higher protein but I don't think it's as high as EVO. Plus, didn't Procter and Gamble just buy out Innova? I wonder if they changed the formula or something?
