Sophie loves to shred tissues, too. A few people mentioned envelopes-- she is in HEAVEN if a piece of mail falls on the ground and loves to pick it up and carry it around. She doesn't shred it, just prances around with it in her mouth-- cutest little mail carrier ever! She was horrible about snatching anything that fell when she was a baby, so I taught her that "leave it" means she can't pick up what's on the floor. What I love about it is that now if something drops, she looks right at me to see if it's okay to pick it up first. She also knows to "drop it" on command... which comes in handy when she's found something I didn't see. Yorkies are so smart, aren't they? Seriously, I've had dogs all my life and as much as I loved them, none were as smart as Sophie! |
